Classwork and Homework

Assalamu Alaikum

Dear Parents,

Today we had a great day alhamdulilah!

Biography Project: Today Fatima presented her biography project, and masha'Allah she did a great job!

Language: Students sat on the carpet, and I read a fable, The Tortoise and the Eagle. They wrote the setting, Characters, moral and summary using SWBST in their journals.

Math:We watched another video about Division which focused on different strategies of Division. Today we learned that division can be done by showing equal groups, repeated subtraction, and multiplication facts.
Students completed page 247 in their math books and also completed two division worksheets.

Islamic Studies:Students took turns to read about respecting teachers and elders.

Computer Lab:We went to computer lab and played on educational websites. We also practiced Division by going to the following website:
                                    http://www.fun4thebrain.com/division.html

Homework:
  •  Division worksheet due tomorrow.
Reminder:
  •  Traditions worksheet is due tomorrow.

                    A Message From Tr. Nancy

Dear Parents,

Assalamu Alaikum
This is just a reminder to please return your child's Abraar Library book(s) this week, inshaAllah. It is crucial that all the books be return to facilitate our scheduled inventory and to prepare for next September, inshaAllah.

If you are unsure if your child has a library book, please do not hesitate to contact me either by email or by telephone, and I will let you know.
Thank you for your help and cooperation in this matter. Jazakum Allahu Khairan.
Sincerely,
Nancy-Ann Brethour

Have a wonderful evening in shaa Allah!
