Classwork and Homework

Assalamu Alaykum dear parents.

In sha'Allah you have a wonderful weekend!

This is what we've covered this week:

Language: 
Use a variety of strategies before and during reading (Visualization)
Reading non fiction texts (Animals: How big?).
Descriptive advectives.
Writing a lost note.
Capitalization and punctuation.
Joining words. 
Subject and object pronouns.
Please encourage your kids to read or do shared reading with them (you can read fiction or non-fiction books.)

Math:
Using tens frames to count two-digit numbers.
Compose and decompose two-digit numbers in a variety of ways, using concrete materials.
Identify, compare and order numbers to 100.

Science: 
Observe and compare the physical characteristics and the behavioural characteristics of a variety of animals.

Social Studies:
Traditions and Heritage (definition.)

Islamic Studies:
I obey Allah: The story of Prophet Adam alayhi Assalaam
The story of Qaabeel and habeel.

Weekly Homework:
Try to complete it during the weekend please!
