Assalamu Alaykom dear parents,
We are going to start a new science unit this week in shallah; Energy from wind and moving water.
In this unit, students will learn about the nature of moving water and moving air as forms of energy.
Students will investigate moving water and moving air as two energy sources by demonstrations of energy input and output. They will determine that moving water and moving air are renewable resources, which have advantages and disadvantages in their use. Finally, students will construct their own moving water and air propelled devices while identifying the factors that affect their motion and control.
