Classwork and Quran Homework

Assalamu Alaikum

Dear Parents,
Today we had a nice day alhamdulilah!

Language: Today we reviewed homonyms and did two online quizzes as a class on homophones. Then we completed a worksheet on homophones independently.

Guided Reading: Tr. Naaz joined us, and we had our guided reading session. Today students  read about communities, and they found the main idea in each paragraph. Other groups read independently, and did some reading activities.

Math: Today we started learning about Multiplication.Students watched a video about repeated addition and learned that multiplication is basically repeated addition.
We learned different strategies to multiply by grouping, repeated addition and arrays. Students completed pages 238,239, and 240 in their math books.  Those who finished early made arrays with different rows and columns by using bingo dabbers.

Islamic Studies: Last Friday, we watched a beautiful video about world's 10 largest mosques.Today students took turns to learn about mosques around the world. They also learned about different parts of the masjid and there importance.

Quran Homework: Practice Surah Al-Mutaffifin Ayah 18 to 25.

Tomorrow is Community Day!

Jazakum Allahu Khairun!
